商务英语翻译;3. 被动语态的翻译 英语中被动语态使用明显多余汉语，商务英语中尤其如此。由于商务英语以叙述某一过程为主，叙事推理，强调客观准确，往往用第三人称叙述，采用被动语态，这样，句子的重点不在于“谁做”，而在于“做什么”和“怎么做”，动作的执行者处于“无关紧要”的地位。 因此，在汉译英过程中，常常需要把主动语态转换为被动语态。 ;例1.由于服务贸易的性质，人们在以往的贸易谈判和贸易协定中一直忽略了它。 The nature of trade in services is such that until recently they have been virtually ignored in trade negotiations and trade agreements. 例2： 有一些贸易壁垒是直接和出口有关的。 Some trade barriers are directly related to exports. 例3： 高利率和具有风险性的融资挤垮了住房抵押贷款。 Home mortgages were devastated by towering interest rates and risky creative financing. ;4. 拆句法与合句法 例1：这次经过艰苦斗争取得的成功将为世贸组织注入新的活力。两年前在西雅图，为达成类似的协议世贸组织曾遭到惨重失败。 译文：The hard-fought success will breath new life into the WTO, battered by a disastrous failure to reach a similar agreement in Seattle two years ago. ;例2： 我们对贵公司2007年9月5日的来信很感兴趣。 在信中，贵公司详细叙述了如何扩大推销我方产品的问题。 译文：We take great interest in your letter dated September 5,2007, in which you have elaborated on the potentialities of developing a market for our products. 例3： 水晶宫饭店地处天津市中心。这里的客房装饰优美、品位高雅，堪称顶级豪华饭店。 译文：Ideally situated in the very heart of the city of Tianjin, with nice furnishing and elegant style, the Crystal Hotel is well-appointed to the highest standard of luxury. ;例4： 中国国际贸易促进委员会成立于1952年5月。它是一个全国性民间组织，成员包括中国经济贸易界有代表性的人士、企业和团体。 译文： Established in May, 1952, China Council for the Promotion of International Trade is a national non-governmental organization that comprises VIPS, enterprises and organizations representing the economic and trade sectors in China. ;例5 将来，公司必须更加注重树立员工对公司的忠诚，但要做到这点??非易事，因为多数人都宁愿丰富自己的履历表而转到其他公司，也不愿继续在现有岗位上承受过度的紧张压力。 译文：In future, companies will have to concentrate more on establishing employee loyalty, which will be hard won, with many people preferring to improve their CVs and move on to another company rather than get stressed out in their current job. ;5. 无主句的翻译 汉译英中，无主句的处理有如下原则和方法： （1）补充主语，增加代词。 （2） 使用被动语态。 （3） 使用祈使句。 （4） 使用形式主语it。 （5）使用there +be 句型;例1： 能否告知贵方付款条件？ Would you let us know what your terms of payment are? 例2： 请
