Business English is the main communicative language of business activities in China. In order to do the translation well we must understand the characteristics of business English first. This article will briefly analyze the concepts and the characteristics of business English such as cultural style, language features and cultural awareness, meanwhile explain the translation techniques of business English and the methods to help us translate business English better in the future. Key words: Business English; Language Features; Translation Skills 商务英语的概念 商务英语是人们在商务活动中所使用的英语，通称为Business English，是现代外资企业中最重要的交流工具，主要解决关于商务活动的一些贸易关系。以适应职场生活的语言要求为目的，经常应用在谈判、外贸函电（订单、提单、问价）等方面，包含了各种商务活动的内容。商务英语不只是简单地对的英文水平、能力的提高，它更多地是向传授一种西方的理念、工作心理，甚至是如何和外国人打交道，如何和他们合作、工作方式方法，以及他们生活习惯等ESP（English for Specific Purpose）归根到底，实用性是商务英语最大的特点。在使用上有其显著特色，主要表现在文体、语言和文化意识方面。“We would be glad to…”，“It would be appreciated”之类的来表达。因此翻译时千万不能照搬原文硬翻译，要懂得及时变通，注意措辞婉转。它在语法、句法、语体等方面都有自己的不同之处，且常常会涉及到许多不同的业务范畴。商务英语涉及到营销、经济学、金融学、会计学和商务管理学等许多边缘领域，同时它还涉及到对外贸易、技术引进、招商投资、商务谈判、国际支出和结算等业务范畴。　　　　certify而不使用prove；使用previous to而不使用before等。商务工作讲求时间效益，因此，商务英语语言必须准确精炼；例如：“We wish to let you know that we fully appreciate the
