Task-based approach is to organize teaching by the task, during the execution of the process, with the way of participation, experience, interaction, exchange and cooperation; it’s to give full play to their cognitive skills and to mobilizing their purpose language resources. In practice, it’s to perceive, recognize and apply the purpose language; it shows us learning by doing and doing by learning. Task-based approach is the more advanced educational concept and is worthy of the effective promotion of foreign languages teaching method. This article explains the meaning of task-based approach, the theoretical basis, the learning and teaching principles as well as the practice and reflective of task-based teaching in English class teaching. Keywords: Task-based approach Task organization Learning by doing Doing by learning Class teaching 1.引言 教育部2001年秋季颁布了《英语课程标准》(实验稿),用以规范和指导我国中学英语教学。其中“任务型教学模式” 是《英语课程标准》(实验稿)中正式以官方文件的形式提到的一种教学模式。它强调以各种各样的学习任务为中心,学生在学习时首先要考虑如何完成学习任务,而不是如何学会某种语言形式。
