Don’t arrive late for class. Don’t fight. Step2: Presentation Ask the students about their rules, and list the rules on the board. Ask them which rules are they breaking, and why they should obey the rules. Grammar: Imperative Sentences Let the students see Page 119 and learn the grammar : Imperative Sentences. Practice: Translate the sentences: Step3. 1a: Read the rules aloud and make sure to understand them. Explain: arrive late for class, on time, in the hallways, listen to the music, Step4: Listen to 1b and number after the names. Check the answers: Peter 2 Amy 3 Mike 4 Step5: Pairwork: 1.Make dialogues in pairs according to 1c : A:What are your school rules? B: Well, we can’t arrive late for class.
