The first period Section A(1a-1c)
教材分析
本节课学习动物的单词,及表述喜欢的原因,教学中的各项活动都围绕动物展开。学生们运用英语简单描述自己喜欢的动物,进一步培养和激发热爱动物、保护动物、维护生态平衡的朴素情怀。
教学策略
1、运用教学模式,培养学生语言的综合运用能力,实现目标,感受成功,教学进整体,教学形式不拘一格。
2、课堂以学生为主体,以为主线,重视体验参与,教师起“设计者、研究者、促进者、协调者”的作用。
3、在教学中,突出交际性,注重读写的实用性,注重情感和策略的调整
六、教学目标:
1、语言知识目标
Words: panda zoo tiger elephant koala lion giraffe animal cute
lazy smart beautiful. scary
Drills: Let’s see the pandas first
Why do you want to see the pandas? Because they’re cute.
Why does he like the koalas? Because they are very interesting.
2、语言技能目标
. 使学生熟练谈论自己喜爱的动物并给出理由。
. 使学生学谈论自己喜爱的其他东西并给出理由。
情感目标
.培养学生自觉保护动物的意识。
.使学生更加热爱生活。热爱父母、热爱朋友,热爱自然。
.能在小组活动中积极与他人合作,。
学习策略目标:学会调动已有知识,根据情景推测句子含义.
文化意识目标:了解各种动物的特性。
教学重点
.熟练用一些动物的词汇谈论自己最喜欢的动物。
b.动物特点的形容词谈论喜欢某一种动物的原因。
难点
a.表达动物的的词义和读音。
.熟练运用所学动物的原因。
Step 1 : Warming up
1.Teacher shows some sounds of animals. Then let students
guess what kind of animals they are.(such as tiger,elephants…)
Step 2 : Learn new words by yourself
Present the new words by showing the pictures of animals.
Learn new words together
Step 3 Section A 1a
Read the new words loudly
look at the picture and match the words with the animals.
3.Check the answers to the class.
Step 4 listening Section A 1b
Play the tape, Call students to listen
Play the tape again,Let them listen to the tape carefully and check the animals you hear in 1a
Step 5 Learn words of adj
Show the pictures of cute. fun. lazy interesting. smart. beautiful and learn
Point to the picture of pandas and say “They are cute /fun/lazy...
Step 6 Learn to make conversions
Show tiger to class and then present
