Unit 1 How can we become good learners? Section B 2a-Self check 教学目标: 1.学习使用与“Talk about how to study”话题相关的词汇以及句型。 2.能运用查读和扫读的阅读策略,完成相应的阅读任务,理解文章。 3.能就“a good learner”这一话题与同伴进行交流与讨论。 4.能运用所学的话题语言给朋友写信,就英语的学习方法提出适当的建议。 教学重难点: 重点:1.运用适当的阅读策略完成相应的阅读任务。 完成本单元要求的写作任务。 运用适当的策略完成本单元的自我检测。 难点:能灵活运用恰当的语言就“a good learner”这一话题与同伴进行交流和讨论以及自主完成写作任务。 教学方法:教师采用任务型教学方法 ,让学生在完成一个一个学习任务的同时,掌握语言知识和技能,学生采用pair work和group work合作探究学习新的知识。并做好练习检测,以巩固知识。 教学过程: Step 1 Lead-in 利用很多学生的看法:English is so so so difficult.来讨论: How can we study English well? By... What good learning habits can you think of? Make a list and discuss them with your partner. 1.being active in class 2.have an interest in the subject 3.preparing lessons before class 4.reviewing lessons after class 5.asking questions 6.having a study partner Step 2 Reading 1.Ask the students to read the passage as quickly as they can and find out the answer. Let students read the passage again individually, silently, and very carefully, then answer the questions in 2c (1)Does the writer think that everyone is born with the ability to learn well?
