Methodology:

ThisstudywilladoptaqualitativeapproachtoanalyzetheChinesecharacteristicsvocabularyinTimeMagazine.Firstly,theresearcherwillcollectthecorpusofTimeMagazineintherecentfiveyears.Secondly,theresearcherwillidentifythecommonlyusedChinesecharacteristicsvocabularyinTimeMagazine.Thirdly,theresearcherwillconductatranslationanalysisoftheseChinesecharacteristicsvocabularyinTimeMagazine,bycomparingtheoriginalChinesetextwiththecorrespondingEnglishtranslations.Fourthly,theresearcherwillevaluatetheeffectivenessofthetranslationbyexaminingthereadersfeedbackandtheaccuracyofconveyingtheoriginalmeaning.
