利润率诱导视角下的产业结构升级研究——来自中国上市公司证据的中期报告 Abstract: This paper examines the industrial structure upgrading from the perspective of profit rate induction using evidence from Chinese listed companies mid-term reports. We find that the profit rates of Chinas listed companies are positively related to the level of industrial concentration. Moreover, the profit rates are higher in industries with higher RD intensity, human capital intensity, and market competition. In contrast, industries with higher pollution emissions intensity have lower profit rates. Through regression analysis, we confirm that the industrial structure is significantly related to profit rates. Therefore, we argue that promoting the upgrading of industrial structure is an important way to improve the profit rates of Chinese listed companies.
