一、课程的性质和地位

二、理论教学部分的考核目标
国家教委《高等学校英语专业高年级英语大纲》规定,高等学校英语专业高年级英语的教学是“继续打好语言的基本功,进一步扩大知识面,重点应放在培养英语综合能力,扩充文化知识,提高交际能力上。”根据《大纲》中的上述规定,我院高级英语考试的目的是检查专业三年级学生是否达到大纲要求的所要达到的综合语言技能和交际能力。
