It deepens and extends the geographical theory teaching. This paper expatiated on the effect of the geographical practice teaching in the ability cultivation . Then , on the aspects of the associative extent with the courses , the content , method and organization forms of the teaching and the spatial distribution forms of the practice area , this paper dissertated about the patterns of the geographical field practice teaching. Moreover , the characteristics and application of the primary patterns were discussed .
