In recent years，podocyte injury is identified to play an important role in the pathogenesis of DN and considered as a pivotal factor to induce proteinuria and glomerular sclerosis. It is proved that Modified Huangfeng Decoction can reduce proteinuria and improve renal function in the clinical work.
