Describe to the court the scene of the accident中的me, your parents以及the court。在被动小句中，受话者可能是主语；如I wasn’t told the whole truth中的I。 （2）言语内容是一种功能，和所说内容相应。这有两种可能性。 （a）可能是所说的内容；如can you describe the apartment for me?中的the apartment（参考上面所举例子中的the scene of the accident），the manager will outline his plan of campaign中的his plan of campaign以及the mystery’s never been explained中的the mystery。 如果说言语过程涉及的内容是投射物品-服务、而不是信息，如命令或承诺，那么言说内容指的是I ordered a steak中的 a steak，those earrings were promised to another customer中的those earrings。 (b) 可能是言说的名称；如let me ask you a question中的a question，now don’t you say another word!中的another word。这个类别同样出现在像give和make这样的‘虚’动词中，如give the order, make a statement。语言的名称是言语内容，如they were speaking Arabic。 5.5.3 存在过程 存在过程表征的是某物存在
