Step 1 Lead-in/warming-up: introduce some means of transport and discuss about traffic jam.
1)T:Good moring. Do you know the means of transport in the picture?(show a picture to students)
S:NO.1 is a car
S:no.3 is a bus.
…
T: how about no.5?it’s an underground.we can also call it subway. And no.9 is a helicopter.
No.10 is a coach. It looks the same with no.1. it’s a bus,too.it’s a bus used for long distances.
( write the new words on the blackboard while introducing them)

3) Now you may discuss with your deskmates the following questions in activity3:
