数学之神(The god of the math) The god of the math Archimedes was a famous Greek mathematician, physicist and astronomer. He created the Archimedes principle, founded calculus, invented the Archimedes spiral, and invented several tactical weapons for the war. Archimedes was born in the Sicilian Greek immigrant of Syracuse in 287 BC. His family belonged to the aristocracy, a relative of Syracuse, but is said to be not rich. Father fedias was an astronomer and mathematician. Under the influence of his father, Archimedes loved to learn, thought, debated, and loved mathematics, and studied Euclids geometry. When he was 11 years old, he went to Alexandria and went to Alexandria for further study. Alexander is a famous scholar, not only has the largest library in the world, it has more than 500 thousand volumes, but also has a very good academic research environment. Alexander in the research work mainly divides into four, literature, mathematics, astronomy and medicine and mathematics occupies the main status in scientific research, thus gradually forming a geometry research centered Alexander in the school of mathematics, which has entered the golden age of Greek geometry. Archimedes met many famous scholars here, especially Euclid, which is famous for Euclidean geometry. Around 300 b.c., the Euclidean active in Alexander, his original collection of classical Greek geometry, concluded with a rigorous logic deduction system, is still the worlds peoples the blueprint of the textbooks of geometry. Euclid had produced a large number of mathematicians for Alexandria, and Archimedes had come to bring a new star to the stars of the cultural center. He was a disciple of Euclid, who studied philosophy and mathematics, astronomy, physics, and other scientific knowledge, and was in possession of rich Greek cultural heritage. His classmates, apollonius, Eratosthenes, dorsey, and sifkosi were also famous mathematicians. After returning to Syracuse, he devoted himself to scientific resear
