Aspergu llus n igerw as em bedded in powdered activated carbon to prepare mi m obilized Aspergu llus n iger. To detect its effect, COD in tanneryw astew aterwas removed by mi m ob ilized Aspergullus niger at d iffer- ent pH w ith activated carbon as a contro.l Its long-term effect w as obtained through reusing it. Then, COD and chrom -i nance in tannery wastew aterw ere removed by mi m obilized Aspergu llus niger at different pH, tmi e, temperature and b io- m ass.
