Abstract
BhattacharyyaandSoejoeti(1989)proposedtheTFR(TamperedFailureRate)modelforstep—stressac—
celeratedlifetests.Onstep—stresscompletelyacceleratedtestoccasions,thispaperpointsoutthatthestrategy
providedin[1】J[2】and[5】ofrseekingparameterestimatesunderanormalstressusingtheusualregression
analysisisunreasonable.Andthepaperalsooffersamethodofestimatingprama etersunderanormalstress.
