1. Greetings
2. Free talk.
Step II. Presentation.
Show some pictures to lead out the words of seasons--months.
Play a game to revise the words about months.
To lead out the new words: November, December.
Practice to read the 12 months.
Step III. New lesson.
Show the calendar of 2017. Then lead out the target language:
---When is your birthday?
---It’s in May.
Ask and answer in different way.
Work in pairs:
Have the Ss to make a conversation.
A:---Hello, ! B:---Hello, !
A:--- How old are you? B:---I am .
A:---When is your birthday? B:---It’s in . How about yours?
A:---My birthday is in .
4. Read the words about months with another form.
Step IV. Practice.
1. Let’s make a survey.
Have the Ss look at the blank, and help them to understand the meaning of this blank.
Divide the Ss in 10 groups and have them work in groups to ask and answer ,then fill in the blank.
2. Groups show.
Step V.Summary .
Let’s review together: Read the 12 months.
