It is a powerful tool for macromolecular structure determination in solution, and has the unique advantage of being capable of elucidating the struc ture and dynamic behavior of proteins during vital biomedical processes. In thisreview, we introduce the re cent progress in MR techniques for studying the structure, interaction and dynamics of proteins. The methods for MR based drug discovery and metabonomics are also briefly introduced.
