ABSTRACT
With the continuous development of information technology and network technology, manufacturing technology is also close to the information technology development, the key of the Manufacturing Informatization is to extract information from manufacturing execution system (MES). The data interface and communication protocol of different NC system are also not identical, in light of the diversity of the NC machine tools, monitoring methods of NC Machine is also varied. The research object of this article is 840D NC machine, which is the manufacture equipment for underwater production equipment. The research on 840D NC system production process condition monitoring system can be divided into two categories: method based on machine tool electrical and based on machine tool communication, these methods can only monitor some state data, defect is still exist. With 840D NC system as the research object in this paper, the main research content is as follows:
840D NC system data extracting method is put forward on the basis of storage and transmission way of 840D machine data, PLC interface data and NC variable data. Meanwhile, data channel is also another planning.
Multi Point Interface (MPI) communication is researched, and 840D NC basing on PLC intermediate variable data extraction procedure is developed, with an aim to extract PLC interface block data and NC variable data.
The NC machine tool production status information and CNC machine running status information demand is analyzed based on Siemens 840D NC machine tool operation characteristics. Meanwhile, the distributed collection and centralized management overall scheme of the monitoring system and monitoring system software hierarchy is planned.
