College, W enzhou Un iversity, W enzhou 325000) Abstract: By using themethod of questionnaire, the paper investigates current situation of sports activities of peas ant workers in 7 cities of Zhejiang province. The resu lt show s as follow s: although peasantw orkers have som e cogn ition on sports, the sports apparatus are inconven ient; they have less spare tmi e and thew orking intensity is h igher; the con tents of participation is single and the technique is low er; and stay in a low level as aw hole. It puts forw ard suggestions as follow s: enforce the organ ization and leadersh ip of governm ent; increase the strength and dmi ension of sports activities propaganda; mi prove sports apparatus; reform social sports instructor system.
