一、教学内容:

二、教学目标:
1 初步掌握理解句型,并能在交际中口头运用比较级句型
2掌握四会单词tall, taller ,old ,older, young, younger.
3 掌握三会单词和词组cute,go for a walk.
4能听懂、会说句型Are you? as tall as your ……
Su Yang’s twenty minutes younger than me.
Who is younger, you or Su Yang?
三、教学重、难点:
能正确理解、掌握四会单词并能听懂会说句型Are you? as tall as your ……Su Yang’s twenty minutes younger than me. Who is younger, you or Su Yang?
四、课前准备:
1.准备录音机和本课A部分的磁带。
2.准备A部分的图片。
3.课前写好本课的课题6B. Unit 1A部分Look, read and say
五、教学过程:
Step1. Sing a song. 跟录音机边听边表演唱英文歌曲Hello
Step2. Free talk. 师生交流
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning,
T: Nice to see you again.
Ss: Nice to see you, too.
T: How old are you ?
Ss: I’m 12 years old.
T: How old is he?
Ss: He’s 11 years old, too.
Step3. Presentation and drill新授和操练
1.教师通过刚才的师生问答引出句型I’m older than…...
2.教师板书old和older进行教学同时让学生理解。
3.教师出示音标让学生试读,然后集体升降调朗读。
4.引出 young和younger的学习。
Su Yangs twenty minutes younger than Su Hai.
Su Hai--Su Yangs twenty minutes younger than me. (注意后宾格的教授)
5.T: How old are you?
?S1: I’m 12 years old.
T: How old is he?
Ss: He’s 11 years old.
T: Who is younger,…or …?引出句型——三人一组操练
6.就刚才创设情景的2个学生,
T:Are you as tall as him?
T:Yes,I am taller than him.引出tall和taller的学习。
7.(1)教师头戴Ben面具, 左手拿Jack面具,右手拿Su Hai面具。
????? 教师创设情境,向大家展示三人相遇场景,配以书面表达。
(2)教师再次展示,学生跟读,熟悉场景及课文内容。
(3)分段展示,学生复述。 (相遇— Su Hai介绍姐姐— Jack引出小狗Jimmy)
(4)四人一小组,课文内容表演。
Step4. Practice and consolidation练习和巩固
1.让学生听录音,引出单词cute,went for a walk和the only child 的学习, 操练,巩固。
2.让学生模仿跟读录音。
3.学生小组活动,每人接龙说一个比较级的句子
I’m older than you (him, her). I’m taller than you. I’m younger than you.
4.在次基础上小组讨论句型:Who is younger (taller, older), or..?
5. Ask and answer in pairs.
六? 布置作业:
1.听本课A部分的录音,要求学生跟读、读熟,并能够和同学比身高和年龄。
