Isothermal cure kinetics of epoxy / nano-TiO2

Abstract :The influence of nano-TiO2 as a filler on the isothermal cure reaction of the epoxy resin was
studied by means of different scanning calorimetry (DSC). Analysis of DSC data indicated that both the
curing process of the epoxy resin and its compounds were contained autocatalytic mechanism. Kamal
model was found to be appropriate to describe the cure reaction of the studied systems. With the nano-
TiO ,the content rate of k and k were increased ,but the activation energy was decreased.
