学情分析:
本课的教学对象是四年级学生。通过一年的学习,有了一定的英语基础,学习热情较高。在教学中,要根据学生的年龄特点和心理特征,设计一些有趣、有效的教学活动,让学生在活动中习得英语,同时培养学生良好的拼读习惯和自主学习、合作学习的能力。

1. 教具准备:一本一周的日历、多媒体课件、单词卡片。
2. 学具准备:学生每人一套周一到周五的单词卡、两人一套周一到周五的小日历。
教学过程:
Step 1. Warmer:
Enjoy a song: Days of the week.
T: Do you like this song? The name of the song is “Days of the week”. (板书)Do you know “day”?(拿出日历)Monday is a day. Tuesday is a day. Wednesday is also a day. … One day, two days, three days… . Day means … . (用卡片教说day)
T:(翻动七张日历) This is a week. So week is … . Now let’s enjoy this song.
【设计意图】利用歌曲活跃课堂气氛,同时让学生先感知一下表示星期的单词,继而引出本单元的主题。

T: Do you like this song? Do you like music? Do you like English? What’s your favorite subject?

T:(拿出课程表)Look at the schedule. Today is Friday. What subjects do we have this morning/ this afternoon /today?

T: What day is today? (板书)
It is Friday. (指着课程表上的星期五)。
学说Friday。Friday利用利用课件出示like, nice, rice, ri, 引导学生一步步自己拼出Friday。 T: What subjects do we have on Monday?
Ss: We have Chinese, maths and PE.
T: We have Chinese/maths/PE on Friday. Do you like Friday? (找几个孩子回答。)Who likes Monday, please put up your hands.
【设计意图】复习与本课相关的学科单词,同时引入新课。提前教授Friday,这样既有利于引导学生在进入课文时理解问题,同时,将五个单词中的一个提前讲授,也在一定程度上分散了难点。
