With the aging of our country, in recent years, the incidence and mortality of the elderly show a rising trend. In our country, the medical profession, with the continuous development of hypertension, the diagnosis and treatment of hypertension is more scientific, the new nursing mode, technology, means and methods have made progress in many ways. This review is mainly to explain the recent development of the elderly hypertension in the rational use of drugs, psychological care and life guidance and so on.
