[Abstract]ObjectiveToevaluatetheclinicalefficacyofShexiangTongxindroppingpillscombinedwith“Quadrupletherapy”inelderlypatientswithheartfailurewithpreservedejectionfraction(HFpEF).MethodsAtotalof193elderlyHFpEFpatientsadmittedtoAffiliatedHospitalofYangzhouUniversityfromJanuarytoJune2022wereselectedasstudyobjects,andweredividedintoobservationgroup(97cases)andcontrolgroup(96cases)accordingtorandomnumbertablemethod.Thecontrolgroupwastreatedwithsacubitrilvalsartansodiumtablets+dapagliflozintablets+metoprololtartratetablets+spironolactonetablets,andtheobservationgroupwastreatedwithShexiangTongxindroppingpillsonthebasisofcontrolgrouptreatment,andbothgroupsweretreatedfor6months.Thechangesofcardiacfunctionindexes,serummyocardialinjurymarkers,endothelialfunctionandinflammationindexesbeforeandaftertreatmentwerecomparedbetweentwogroups.Theaveragelengthofhospitalization,readmissionratewithin30daysandtheeffectiverateoftreatmentwereanalyzed.After6monthsoffollow-up,the6-minutewalktest,6-monthreadmissionrateandtheincidenceofmajoradversecardiovascularevent(MACE)werecomparedbetweentwogroups.ResultsAfter30daysoftreatment,thetotaleffectiverateofobservationgroupwassignificantlyhigherthanthatnbsp;ofcontrolgroup(93.8%vs.90.6%,c2=3.982,P=0.031).After30daysoftreatment,leftventricularenddiastolicdiameter,leftventricularendsystolicdiameter,N-terminalpro-brainnat
