Listening
She and her husband were planning to buy their own house, and they had to spend their money carefully. Besides, she thought the chair was too expensive
Everyone who saw the chair wanted it, but once they got it home, they found that it didnt match any furniture because it was brick red, not true red. So they soon returned it to the shop
She and her husband had decided that if they wanted to buy anything that cost over one hundred dollars, they should consult each other. But she bought the chair without mentioning it to him, so she was worried in case he wouldnt approve of her purchasing the chair, and to make matters worse, the chair couldnt be returned
When her husband came back that evening, she broke the news to her husband in a seemingly casual way. After he tried sitting in the chair, he said he liked it, and he didnt even ask how much it cost.
