改短句为非限定性动词短语,包括不定式,分词和动名词短语。
Eg: When Jerry left the room, he was whining and crying. He was convinced that I was a cruel man.
改为:Whining and crying, Jerry left the room convinced that I was a cruel man.
改短句为介词短语。
Eg: Although it was raining hard, he got there in time.
改为: He got there in time in spite of the heavy rain.;改短句为同位语结构短语。
Eg: Beijing is the capital of China. It is also the second largest city in this country.
改为:Beijing, the capital of China, is the second largest city in this country.
使用非人称主语组织句子。
1)物称主语。
Eg: She began to cry.
改为: Tears came to her eyes.
2)it充当形式主语。
Eg: It never occurred to me that she would be so displeased.
3)there+系动词结构。
Eg: There comes a time when dying seems better than staying alive.

介绍部分是一篇文章的“地图”,用来提纲挈领。其中第一句的作用是用来说明整段文章的总义和介绍文章的主题,之后的一至两句则是用来表达考生的个人意见 (论点),最后一句通常用来带领进入主体部分。文章好的开头会引人如胜,激发阅卷老师的阅读兴趣。一般说来,这一段落不宜太长,要简明扼要,主要可以采用以下三种方法。;1.引用法。文章开头引用名人名言、谚语或有代表性的看法见解来引出文章要展开讨论的一种观点,并明确自己的立场。

2.数字统计法。要想使文章更有说服力,开头应该用一些实际的数字来说明。
