考点一 形容词 1．形容词表示人或事物的特征，在句中可以作定语、表语、宾语补足语。 You must keep your eyes closed when you do eye exercise. (宾补) There are many colourful coral reefs under the sea. (定语) Mother looked happy when she received our presents. (表语) 2．形容词作定语时位置 The boy is old enough to go to school. He has something interesting to tell his mother. 3． 复合形容词 一个5岁的女孩 a 5-year-old girl 4．有些词只作表语 afraid，alone，asleep，alive，awake，ill 5．有些以-ly结尾的词是形容词而不是副词。 friendly，lively，silly，lovely, likely(有希望的),lonely，daily等。 6．“the＋形容词”表示一类人或物。 the poor(穷人) 7.表示长、宽、高、深及年龄的形容词，应放在相应的名词之后。 How long is the river？ It’s about two hundred metres long. 8.只能作定语的形容词： little小的；only唯一的；wooden木质的；woolen羊毛质的；elder年长的 My elder brother is in Beijing. 排序 two big round new Chinese wooden tables 两张新的中国式的木制大圆桌 形容词比较等级的构成：原级、比较级和最高级。 形容词原级用法 1.The man is very tall. very，so，too，enough，quite 2.① English is as important as Chinese. 肯定句中的结构：“A...＋as＋形容词原级＋as＋B” I am not so fast as Lucy. ②否定句中的结构：“A...＋not＋as/so＋形容词原级＋as＋B” Our school is three times as big as his. 我们学校是他学校的三倍大。 This table is twice as long as that one. 这张桌子是那张桌子的两倍长。 ③表示“A是B的……倍”时，用“A...＋倍数＋as＋形容词原级＋as＋B”结构。 (两倍：twice；三倍以上：数字＋times) His apples are half as many as his sisters. 他的苹果是他妹妹的一半多。 ④“half as＋形容词原级＋as”表示“……是……的一半”。 13．形容词比较级用法 The oranges in this bag are bigger than those in that bag. (1)两者比较，其结构为“A...＋比较级＋than＋B”。 It is much hotter in Guangdong than that in Jilin. (2)有表示程度的副词a little，a bit，a lot, much，even，still，far，等修饰时，用形容词比较级。 (3)Which book is newer，this one or that one? “Which/Who is＋形容词比较级，A or B？” Her house is twice bigger than mine. 她的房子比我的大两倍。 (4)表示“大…几倍”时，用“倍数＋比较级＋than”表示。 Tom is the taller of the two boys. (5)表示“两者之间较……一个(of the two)”时，常用“the＋比较级”结构。 Its getting warmer and warmer in spring. Our school is becoming more and more beautiful.
