四级考试作文范例 Peer pressure The idea of peer pressure is something that most of us have experienced but may not know it. Has anyone ever tried to get you to skip class? Have your friends tried to convince you to start smoking? When your friends or classmates try to get you to do something or influence how you act, it is called peer pressure. 文章第一部分为peer pressure下了一个定义,并举 例简单描述了可以被称之为peer pressure的具体事 例 Defining peer pressure Peer pressure can be both positive and negative. One of the ways in which peer pressure is good is that it encourages you to improve yourself. If all of your peers are studying hard and getting good grades, you will feel the pressure to do that too. Sometimes your peers may also pressure you to play a new sport. This is usually a good thing. Peer pressure is positive when it promotes you to do good things. However, peer pressure is often negative. One of your friends may try to convince you to steal something. You may also be pressured to bully another student. This is negative peer pressure because someone is trying to convince you to do something mean or wrong. How to deal with peer pressure Many people give in to peer pressure because they want to fit in and be liked by their friends and classmates. When it is negative peer pressure, it’s important to learn ways to say “no” to your friends or classmates. One good way is to find a friend who will stick with you and also resist peer pressure. That way you will not feel like the only one who is not giving in. It also helps to find friends that will not pressure you to do things you don’t want to do. Finding friends with similar interests will help you stay away from negative peer pressure. Be confident and you’ll find it is much easier to resist negative peer pressure. No one can make you do something you don’t want to do! 2010年12月 How Should Parents Help Children to Be Independent? 1. 目前不少父母为孩子包办一切 2. 为了让孩子独立,父母应该…… How should parents help children to be independent?
