Abstract Taking 2K- H(NGW) - Z mixed gear train volume reducing as objective for optimization according to
the gear train mechanism to determine the design variables and constriants, the mathematical model is established. Us-
ing the genetic algorithm based on Matlab software, the optimization design calculation is carried out to make the opti-
mized parameters more accord with the actual requirements. Eventuall , the ideal optimization design scheme is got.
