Read the first sentence of the text together and lead the students to find the “troubles” from the following paragraphs. While-task procedure Scan PartⅠand tell the three characters. Read PartⅠagain and do the exercises. Tell whether the following sentences are True or False. Answer the questions. Predict what will happen in PartⅡ. Read Part Ⅱ and choose the meanings of the words. Read line 35-59 and list the things that John did. Read line 35-59 after the tape. Read line 60-73 and answer the questions. Post-task activity Think and discuss. Look at the title again and think about the meaning of “drama”. Assignment Try to tell how John solved his troubles according to the text. Read Part II after tape for at least three times.
