Objectives: 1) To familiarize students with Mark Twain, his life experiences, his personality, his importance in literature as well as in the history of USA.
2) To help students appreciate biography writing.
3) To help students learn useful words and expressions.

Autobiography—an account of one’s own life, written by oneself.
Do you read people’s biographies? Why do you read them?
