All the people ,from lawmakers, doctors, clergy, businesspeople, educators, parents to the general public alike, have voiced their concerns. 2. What are the other signs that the author describes as horrifying about American children? steadily increasing cruelty, substance abuse among younger children, the growing disrespect for parents,teachers,and other legitimate authority figures, the rise of incivility, the increase of vulgarity, and widespread cheating and commonplace dshonesty.
