Grammar 语法 Unit 12 InfinitiveGerund不定式动名词 一、动词后面只接动词不定式 agree, decide, expect, hesitate, hope, want, plan, manage, wish, offer, prepare, refuse, fail, intend, pretend, neglect, propose, learn, promise, attempt, afford, would like, etc. 1) The parents decide to buy a notebook for their child. 2) The student can’t afford to buy himself a personal computer. 3) I would like to invite you out for lunch. 二、动词后只接动名词 like, feel like, dislike, fancy, enjoy, admit, mind, practice, suggest, regret, deny, avoid, imagine, miss, consider, delay, finish, resent, risk, appreciate, can’t help, etc. 1) The customers feel like using this kind of USB disks. 2) I suggest having a visual conference. 3) They can’t help laughing when hearing him snoring. 三、动词后既接不定式也接动名词（表达的意义区别不大或者没有区别） begin, start, intend, continue, bother, etc. 1) It starts raining.It starts to rain. 2) Joe intends buying a printer.Joe intends to buy a printer. 3) Don’t bother switching on the loudspeaker.Don’t bother to switch on the loudspeaker. 四、动词后既接不定式也接动名词（表达的意义区别很大） forget, remember, try, stop, regret, etc. 1) He forgot taking his USB disk away. (忘记了做过…)He forgot to take his USB disk away. （忘记了该去做…） 2) He remembers saving his document. (记得做过…)Remember to save your document. (记得该去做…) 3) I tried taking the exam but failed. (试着做过…)I tried to take the exam.
