BA Interview from somebody who has got the job with British Airways Mixed
Fleet – Their Story
My assessment time was 11:45 - 14:15
I arrived about half hour early as I knew there was a multi-story car park there, but was
unsure if I would be able to park as it says limits parking on the interview confirmation
email. It was a good job I did as i had to keep circling the car park for a while and eventually
found the last space! It’s a free car park.
From here it’s a 3-5 min walk to the reception. Before you get there you go through the
gates and have to show your passport and interview booking confirmation to a security
officer - you then get handed your visitor pass which you must clip on your jacket.
At reception you get greeted by a member of BA staff and asked to take a seat with the
other hopefuls.
From here you get your height, and your reach tested, you also have to demonstrate you
know how to fasten and UN-fasten a seatbelt.
You then all get taken through for a presentation on BA, they then explain the structure of
the day.
We then went straight in to a test. We had individual desks and had to complete a multiple
choice question paper in 10 minutes - (on BAs careers website, if you log in and go to about
my assessment day - they provide you a link to do some practice exam questions before the
assessment day) I recommend doing this. The questions are nothing to panic about it is
common sense and as long as you don’t rush through it you will be fine. Mark your answers
and then go back through it a second time to give you peace of mind.
