In order to keep the city from constructive destruction,I suggest some plans for safeguard- ing the cultural legacy of Guilin,which are basedon a systematic survey of thewell- known ancient Guilin irrigation works, town planning and architecture, and the riches of rock and stone inscriptions of ancient Guilin.
