Unit7 What does he look like?(the first period)教学设计  教材内容分析及设计理念: 本教材重点培养学生的兴趣,结合实际,贴近生活。插图生动活泼,重视了学生的情感。本节课我强调英语课程要从学生的学习兴趣、学习经验和认知水平出发。倡导体验、实践、参与、合作与交流的学习方式和任务型的教学途径,发展学生的综合语言运用能力。 Section A 第一课时以What does he look like? 为话题, 围绕describe people’s appearance这一话题展开思维(1a)、听力(1b)、口语(1c)训练;以一种循序渐进的生活化的学习程序,引导学生学会用英语介绍自己或他人的外表特征。这些内容与学生的实际生活密切相关,易于引发学生运用简单的英语进行交际和交流,所以在学习活动中,学生能通过交换对不同人物的描述及看法,促进学生之间和师生之间的情感交流,增进情谊。我借助于“任务型教学”,将听、说、读、写、练等融为一体,激发学生学习英语的兴趣和愿望。通过合作学习,使学生体验集体荣誉感和成就感,从而树立自信心,发展自主学习的能力,进一步培养学生用英语进行交际的能力。 导入新课 lead in   1.Show students a doll. Teacher asks students:| “what’s this in English?” Students answer: “It is a doll./a girl”. T: “ OK It’s a beautiful girl..”then “what’s this?” SS: “It’s a hand./an eye/an ear/a mouth….(review the parts the body) T:Today let’s learn how to describe people’s appearance/looks. then look at the girl’s hair ask ss: “ What?does?she?look?like?? ” ?Help SS answer: “She?has?long?hair./She has curly hair…”(write down the word hair on the Bb)then point to one student and say : “He has short hair/ I have straight hair /xxx has …hair (用一个漂亮可爱的玩具娃娃导课,能吸引学生的注意力,自然轻松的进入授课内容。)。 环节2:新知呈现 Step1.) Write down long?hair/ short hair/ straight hair/ curly hairlet ss read the phrases after the teacher for three times.let ss read the words more. Step2.) Show YangMi”s photo and Song Dandan’s photo to learn long?hair/ short hair compair my hair and one student’hair to learn curly hair/ straight hair(用杨幂和宋丹丹的照片学习长短发新颖直观,用老师和学生的头发来学习直卷发,形象逼真直观) Step3) Show Pan Changjiang,Guo Da,and Yao Ming’s photos.talk about “height” Pan Changjiang is short . Guo Da is of medium height. Yao Ming is tall show HanHong,linXinrong, YangMi”s photos.talk about “build” YangMi is thin/weak. linXinrong is of medium build.
