The results showed that the overall water quality of Qionghai was class Ⅱ- Ⅲ in 20 10 . Water sample from Qinglong temple and the Second Waterworks was in the best quality but it was the worst from Haihekou. The main pollutants in Qionghai Lake were TN and TP. From 2003 to 20 10 ,the average concentration of TN rosed from 0 . 334 mg / L to 0 . 463 mg / L ,increased by 38.
