SBR process is especially suitable to treat tannery wastewater owing to it s simplicity , to it s operating flexibility , to low capital expendit ure and high salt load. The engineering practice show good effect can be received by using SBR p rocess to treat tannery wastewater. It is also pointed out t hat wit h t he research and develop ment of SBR system ,it will be a competitive wastewater treat ment p rocess and it s f ut ure application in the treat ment of tannery wastewater will be widely pop ularized.
