【教学目标】
Knowledge objective
Get the students to be able to use the key vocabulary and new words they learn in this unit.
Ability objective
To summarize and consolidate the simple sentence.

To be glad to listen to others’ hobbies and to be active to take part in the group activities.

To be able to write with the right simple sentences.

Through listening, speaking and writing, let students practise the simple sentence.

1. Leading-in
1.Have a free talk with students.
What’s your hobby?
What do you think of your hobby? Answer the questions like this : My hobby is ...
It’s interesting/relaxing...
2. While-task Let the students work in pairs look at the picture,ask and answer about the avtivities in Activity2. 1.Look at the pictures and ask and answer in pairs. Have a competition.
Work in groups of four, put the words and expressions in the boxes and then make sentences about their hobbies to see which group can collect the most sentences.
Listening
Have the students listen to the tape and complete the diagram in Activity6.
Call back the answers.
Have them listen again and answer the question.
Reading
(1)Have the students work in groups of 4 , read the passage and complete the notes in Activity7.
(2) Call back the answers.
The students work in groups put the words and expressions in the boxes and then make sentences about their hobbies .
3. Listening
(1)Listen to the tape and complete the diagram in Activity6.
(2)Check the answers.
(3)Listen again and answer the question.
4.Reading
(1)Read the passage and complete the notes in Activity7 in groups of 4.
(2)Check the answers.
3. Post-task
1. Have the students work in group of 4 ,complete the passage with the correct form of the words and expressions in the box in Activity4.
