J: Good evening, everyone! I’m here at the party of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2012. What are the most high portfolio events! Because it not only combines movie stars, musicians, but also world leaders, social activitists and scientists. You know those who are truly impact our everyday life. So you could say it’s pretty inspirational. Oh, that’s Jeremy Lin, the New York Knicks star point guard, 72% of voters saying the 23-year-old basketball sensation “definitely” should be on the Time 100 most influential list.
So here you are, 23 years old, and top of the world being honor with some of the biggest movies and shakers in the world, hoe does it feel?
L: I’m just grateful to be here, took by surprise that I could even be a part of this events. So it’s a blessing from god.
J: Would the best compliment for you be for someone to say, “He makes his teammates better”?
L: I think that would be the second-best compliment. The best would be, “when I see Jeremy play, I see him play for God and I see him bring joy on the court.”
J: How do you feel about being an inspiration to so many people?
L: I think it’s awesome because I’ve been inspired, too. And I think it’s important for any people to have an inspiration. I think role models are important, and people need direction to grow up. I’ve also had someone guide me back on the right path.
J: And how do you feel about your team now?
L: it’s like our team is like our family. And we go to battle on the court and we fight for each other and we trust in each other and we rely on each other and that’s what it is one the court. When we are out there together, we don’t care about our phones, the
