《飘》和《简·爱》中女主人公的性格比较 作 者：解媛 指导老师：詹蓓 安徽师范大学 成人教育学院 英语系 2010年9月30日 摘要 《简·爱》和《飘》是两部不同时代、不同国家反映爱情故事的作品。两部作品在诸多方面，如女主人公简·爱和郝斯佳的独立意识、爱情观、金钱观及写作背景等，既有相同之处，也有不同之处。简·爱和郝思嘉都不安于现状、敢于抗争，敢于追求爱情、追求独立的生活，但她们对待爱情、婚姻和生存方式的态度却有着很大的差异。本文从《飘》与《简爱》的创作背景入手，在分析她们性格的闪亮点以及性格形成的原因的基础上，系统阐述了《飘》与《简爱》中郝思嘉与简性格的双重性以及她们性格的异同，进而探讨了该书的精神价值和深远意义。 关键词：《飘》；《简·爱》；性格；   Abstract Jane Eyre and Gone with the Wind are two masterpieces about love, written in different periods and different countries. The two works both have similarities and differences in many aspects, such as the heroines Jane Eyre’s and Scarlett’s independent consciousness, views on love and money, writing background and so on. Jane Eyre and Scarlett are not contend with their current situation, they struggle with fate, dare to pursue love and independent life, however, their attitudes toward love, marriage and survival are quite different. This paper, starting from the writing background of Gone with the Wind and Jane Eyre, on the basis of analyzing the shining points of their personality and reasons for their character formation, expounds systematically the heroines’ double character as well as the differences and similarities in the two novels. And thus it makes an exploration into the spiritual value and profound significance of two works.
