1Block and XREF 2011-3-30 Block, 块 A block is one or more objects combined to create a single object High efficiency to reuse objects in the drawings. Create a custom library of objects Convenient for the edition of drawings Save storage space; Reduce size of the file can be included in Attribute(属性) 2Work with blocks Create blocks: Block, Wblock Insert blocks: Insert, MINSERT Edit and update blocks: REFEDIT, Breaking Up a Block Attributes of blocks: Creating Blocks 1st step: draw the object(s) to be converted into a block 3Creating Blocks 2nd step: Converting Objects Into Blocks Using the Block Definition Dialog Box Command line: Block Menu: Draw – Block – Make… Toolbar: Enter the name of the block All the block names present in a current drawing are displayed in the Name drop- down list Select the objects that will constitute the block the units of the block as inserting Specify the base point of the block you create. Retain radio button: it retains the selected objects that form the block as individual objects and does not convert them into a block Convert to block radio button (default option): it converts the selected objects into a block after you have defined the block. Delete radio button: it deletes the selected objects from the drawing after the block has been defined. Do not include an icon: does not create a preview icon. Create icon from block geometry: a preview icon is created, which is saved with the block definition in the drawing. The objects selected are displayed here 4Wblock,写块 Creating drawing files using the write block dialog box To export objects by writing them to new drawing files that can then be inserted in any drawing The Source area allows you to select objects and blocks, specify insertion base points and convert them into drawing files. The Base point area allows you to specify the base point of a wblock, which it uses as an insertion point. The Objects area allows you to select objects to save
