The earliest illustrations as illustrated in the religious significance of books to use, then as natural science, geography, medicine, literature and other fields, began to appear a lot in all kinds of books, and until the last century, books are the main carrier of the illustrations. Illustration is also the author of the painter; they created a lot of different style exquisite illustrations, loved by the masses of the people. Commercial illustration is in the commercial society, for enterprises, products, agency services, in order to convey information, telling as main purpose, with the aid of a variety of modern media, visual communication forms. Commercial illustration generally have clear service object and with the help of some media, such as outdoor advertising, product packaging, manuals, movie and TV enterprise image, opening and so on. In the modern sense of commercial illustration in the 19th century, after the Second World War has entered a rapid development stage, this is a big developing period of economy, technology, media, during the commercial illustration from expression techniques and applications are upside down. Especially the arrival of the digital age, make the commercial illustration, it ushered in an unprecedented boom in the great trend of the industrialization of today.
