The objective of this course is to familiarize students with the basic idea of automatic control, foster their ability of system analysis and design. The general task of the course is to learn fundamental theory and methods of automatic control, master the typical control links and systematic analyzing and designing approach, and study the basic idea and structure of feedback control. Through system-related mathematic modeling as well as basic training on control system analysis method and design, the theoretical and engineering practical foundation is laid for further study and engineering design.
