本课程重点介绍我校电气工程及其自动化专业培养方案、电气工程技术发展历史、电气工程领域各学科分支，包括电机电器及其控
制、电力系统及其自动化、电力电子及电力传动、高电压与绝缘技术、电工理论及其新技术以及电气工程领域的其他新兴方向。通过学
习，使学生了解专业和认知教授，对电气工程技术在国民经济中的重要作用和相关技术有个全貌了解，培养学生良好的大学学习习惯和方
法。通过本课程的学习，帮助本科新生了解电气工程学科概貌、各领域的基本内容、研究的技术问题、发展趋势等，使学生具备自主学习
