Different Family Influence
upon the Life Attitude of Jack and James in Lost
Abstract
Parents are the best teachers. Parent is a very sensitive word to everyone, no matter old or young, male or female. For the child, parents are the first teacher. Through the way that one lives, it is not too difficult to perceive what kind of parents one has and the ways that his parents raise him. For example, it is very easy to find the evidences to prove how sensitive it is between parents and their child in an American television series—Lost. Throughout the storyline, this series emphasizes the very different behaviors and believes of each character by highlighting the active influence or passive influence they run among the others survivors. This paper is indenting to study both active and passive influence of the two main protagonists, Jack and James, and to uncover how the influence of their parents has acted on their individual life because of being another chance to find redemption on the island.
