TheUPF w as characterized by IR and SEM, and its therm al 2 2 conductivity, com ressive strength and mi act toughnesswere also stud ied. The resu lts show that the tenacity and insu lation ofUPF in crease greatly w ith the increase of urea mass under the sam e conditions. When m Um P = 0. 09, com aredw ith m U mP = 0. 03, the mi act resistance, com ressive strength and insu lation erform ance are increased by 28. 96% , 58. 15% and 38. 87% , res ectively, and its hydroxymethyl index is decreased by 20. 69% .
