duringmylastsemesteratBeijingUniversity.DuringmyundergraduatecareerIwasfortunatetobeabletoauditseveraladvancedgraduatelevelcoursestaughtbyoverseasprofessorssuchasComparativeEconomicSystemsandAdvancedMacroeconomics.Theseclassesnotonly

introducedmetoneweconomicconceptsandtheories,butalsobroadenedmyperspectiveandgavemenewinsightsintothedepthofmyfield.

Afteroverthreeyearsofstudyingeconomicsandextensivereadinginrelatedfields,IhavedevelopedmyownunderstandingofthepresentChineseeconomicsystem.Ifeel,anditisanideasharedbymany,thattheChinesegovernmentispresentlystrugglingtoadaptapolicywhichwouldpeacefullyintegratetheadvantagesofamarketeconomywiththecurrentSocialistsystem.Toacertainextent,Ifeelthatthegovernmenthasbeensuccessfulinimplementingthisaim.However,manyproblemshaveyettoberesolved.Chiefamongtheseistheproblemofrejuvenatingandrestructuringthelarger,state-ownedenterprises.AsaresultundertheChinesesocialistsystem,
