It provides convenient to the majority of Internet users and Internet service providers while people do not know well about it. By analysis the virtual currency market in our country, we draw the definition of the virtual currency. With the virtual currency transits from the one-way flow to two-way flow, there are a variety of risks in the development process of virtual currency. By the analysis of different types of risk, we introduce the risks in the operational and technical security aspects as well as a threat to businesses and the financial system. In order to regulate the virtual currency market, the state authorities issued a virtual currency regulation rules. In the combination of the virtual currency and the current regulatory situation, the article puts forward the recommendations in the regulation of virtual currency in both government and enterprises aspects.
